Badges and Tickets

Registrant's conference badge and tickets (if purchased) have been mailed. If you have any questions or problems with your badge or tickets (or if you don't receive them), please call Nicole Wheatley at 312-280-5026 or email at nwheatley@ala.org by February 26, 2003. Once you receive your badge, your registration is complete. Badge holders will be available at the Opening General Session as well as the PLA Information Desk on the 6th floor. The Information Desk will be open the following days/times: Thursday, March 6, 4 - 9 p.m. Friday, March 7, 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 7:30 a.m. - noon

Opening General Session & Dessert Reception

Begin your Spring Symposium experience at the Opening General Session on Thursday night from 7 - 9 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom (4th floor). Keynote speaker will be Mem Fox, author of children's books Possum Magic, Time for Bed and others. Following the Opening Session, enjoy refreshments and mingle with colleagues at the Spring Symposium Dessert Reception. The Opening Session and Dessert Reception are open to all librarians. Registration to the Spring Symposium is not required and there is no charge for this event.

Workshop Schedule

Workshops will run 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. on Friday, March 7, and 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 8. Please check the back of your badge for specific workshop location.
