PLA Candidates for Election 2003
The following reflects the candidates up for office and issues to be
voted on in the upcoming ALA election. This does not serve as a ballot,
but rather as a reminder of who is running. You should have received your
ballot in the mail. If not, please contact Customer Service at 1-800-545-2433,
press 5. Ballots must be received by April 25, 2003, to be included in
the tabulation of votes.

The PLA Board of Directors has approved the following change to the PLA
Bylaws. Division members are asked to approve the change at this time.

Article IV, OFFICERS AND DUTIES, Section 3, The Executive Committee. 01
The Executive Committee will consist of the president, vice-president,
immediate past-pre- 02 sident, the chairs of the clusters, and the
ALA division councilor of PLA. The Executive Director will serve as
a non-voting member of the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee
will have the authority to act for the Board of Directors between Board
meetings.
