Public Libraries Submissions and DeadlinesAs a member, your submissions to PL are invited and encouraged. If youre interested in writing feature articles or smaller opinion pieces, reviewing books or sending us press releases, please read the editorial guidelines. Use Public Libraries to Get the Word Out About Your Group's Activities Public Libraries is a great vehicle for communicating both within your unit and with PLA members as a whole. If your group is part of a PLA cluster, call your cluster editor to discuss items you'd like to have considered for inclusion in your cluster's column. If you are part of a division-wide committee, send your news in a press release to Public Libraries' managing editor. Keep in mind that most committee information is used as filler, small blocks of shaded copy filling in space around larger pieces, so your best bet is to keep items short. Deadlines have a way of sneaking up, so plan ahead! 2002 Production Schedule
